Daddy's out of town!!!

It's just me and my mommy this weekend!

My daddy is a fancy attorney and he had a conference in Chicago this weekend. So, it's just me and my mommy for 4 days!

He's going to eat Italian beef sandwhiches and Lou Malnati's pizza without us! He'll probably hook up with my Auntie Marion and Auntie Lorie too...I haven't even met them yet!

I'm not the hugest fan of shoes, but my mommy snuck these on me while I was sleeping!

This is my cat, Loopy...she's licking her chops because mommy gives her the bowl after she eats ice cream and it's about Loopy's favorite thing! I didn't get any...

We both miss my daddy a lot!

It's way past my bedtime, but whatever! We're up all night anyway, man!

I love to fight sleep...

Hey, how's it goin'???

Lately, it's been hard to get me to nap...I just feel like I'm missing something, so I fight it and fight it...when I fall asleep in my mommy or my daddy's arms, I wake up right away when they put me in the cradle, I'm so smart!

Mommy says that if you have a trick to get me over this, call her... I've been getting the cutest gifts! Here's one from my neighbors, Mercedes and Justin...it's a Pooh outfit.

By the way, don't I look like my mommy in this picture??? I think so...

This is my favorite gift yet...it's from the MacHarg's...the coolest quilt ever, it even has my name on it!

This is how mommy and daddy are getting me to go to sleep...they tie me up in this strait jacket that, strangely, is so comfy!

I thought that I didn't like pacis, but I just needed to find the right one!

My First Photo Shoot...

Hello! How do you like that pic??? It's from my first photo shoot...I'll get into that a little later but I've been pretty busy with my new job as a SuperModel Baby...mommy and daddy are so busy taking pictures and videos, I'm a celebrity!

Here is a picture of me and my GG and my Uncle Jason. They came to visit me while I was still in the hospital. We're getting to know one another but I can tell...they already love me so much!
I'm super lucky!

Here's another shot of my Uncle Jason, he is super cool! Soon we'll be hangin' out on the weekends all the time, I know it!

This is my Grandpa Buddy. He loves me too. I think he'll be teaching me to golf one day.

This is my Mimi. She has 4 other grandkids that I haven't met yet that live in Michigan! Here's a shout out to my cousins up North...

So, there are my family shots...there are so many more to come! I hear my family is HUGE! I haven't even met everybody yet! There's my Grampy, my Aunt Lisa, My Uncle Augie and Aunt Amanda, and Gram...plus, I have an Uncle Joe and Uncle Bob and I can't forget Pop and his whole family! I even have Auntie Marion and Uncle Dave and the fam up there in Chicago...Then there's Aunt Donna and Uncle Wayne and Kevin and Kyle...the list seems to go on and on...I can't wait to meet you all!

Hey Whasssup?

I thought I would check in again today...my mommy and daddy have been taking so many pictures and videos, I wanted to share a couple with you before we go to the drive-in tonight

(I'm still pretty mobile so mommy and daddy still go out, they just bring me along!).

Here's me and my first swing! I like it now, but was a little skeptical at first...

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE my daddy? When I was first born, I recognized his voice right away...he read stories to me the whole time I was in mommy's tummy and he STILL reads me stories!

Here, daddy is showing me some playing cards...I think he read somewhere that this "stimulates" me in some way for learning, but I just like to look at him and listen to his voice. He's awesome.

I want to be just like my daddy one day...but these days I spend a lot of time with mommy while daddy works. Here are my thoughts on that...

Here's a picture of me after my first bath...whew, it was tiring to get that clean!

Well, off to The Taqueria and the drive-in (I'll get the taco via mommy ; p)! Tomorrow I will show you some pictures of my new family-super cool!

My "see ya later, alligator" video today will be of my Mimi. She came to stay with me for 2 whole weeks right after I was born! She is super silly and does a lot to make me smile and coo. Here is a video of how fun my Mimi is!

Welcome to Owen's World...I'm 3 Weeks Old Today!

Hello!

Welcome to my Baby Blog...I'm brand new so blogging, of course, is new to me as well...I got this idea from my buddy and next door neighbor, Quinn (you can check out his blog at www.quinnalanpark.blogspot.com).

It's a great way to keep my new friends and family in the loop with what's going on with me and my new parents (who are awesome, by the way).

So, hello to all of you and especially my family that's so far away, I haven't even met you yet!

There's a lot to cover since I've been around now for three whole weeks! I may need to take a few days to get you on the up and up...but that's cool...I'm sure I can fit in a regular check in around my busy, baby schedule.

Let's see...where to start...

My mommy got so big while she was pregnant with me that everyone thought that she was having twins! It's because I was so big! See?

I was born on Thursday, July 2nd at 1:38 in the morning after a long, long labor and 3 hours of pushing. I handled it like a champ! I was calm as a cucumber the whole time.

I got to come home on the Fourth of July! My daddy says that I'm a lot like the Declaration of Independence...created on July 2nd and celebrated on the 4th!

Well, it's about eating time so I'm off for now, otherwise, I might get pretty cranky. I have so much more to share! My first bath, Mimi coming to stay with us, my first swing, my cool Uncle Jason, visits with my GG, my awesome nursery, hangin' with Grandpa Buddy, and some sweet videos...I'll leave you with this one...
